About the world fairtrade challenge

From 12-14 May 2017, join Fairtrade farmers, workers and supporters for the World Fairtrade Challenge.

Treat your colleagues, friends or customers to Fairtrade products like chocolate, coffee or bananas.

Organise your own Fairtrade Celebration, no matter how big or small. It could simply be the moment you eat a Fairtrade product, a coffee break with work colleagues or a dinner with family. It’s all a cause for celebration because it means Fairtrade farmers and workers getting a fairer deal.

Let’s create the biggest Fairtrade Celebration the world’s ever seen!

Banana Sticker Challenge 2017

For the first time ever, Fairtrade New Zealand is giving primary aged students not only an opportunity to learn about the Fairtrade banana supply chain, workers and farmers, but the opportunity to win a $500 prize pack containing art supplies, Fairtrade games, books and a tablet computer so they can continue learning about Fairtrade throughout the year.

Getting involved is as easy as 1, 2, 3:

1. Firstly, sign your school up for the challenge at
www.fairtradechallenge.org.nz and email emma@fairtrade.org.nz telling us how many posters, bunting and stickers you’d like us to send you.

2. Start your sticker project - encourage your class to collect the sticky tape around Fairtrade Bananas, cut out the Fairtrade Mark and stick them on the poster!

3. Send us a photo of the class with their poster to emma@fairtrade.org.nz to go in the draw to win the $500 prize pack - Fairtrade board games, art supplies and even a tablet computer for the class!
